Thanksgiving (Toronto 2)

A while back I said I’d blog on four things that have been pivotal for the ongoing revival at Catch the Fire Toronto.  Last Sunday I preached on Offence, building on learning from Danny Silk and Steve Long. Open Heart, Open Bible. 

At the Launch learning community we were lead through the Story of God.  It’s an amazing tool that introduces people to relationship with God, gives them the big picture of the bible and helps to create community. 6 sugars

Living in a vicarage means your doorbell rings a lot (less so now as we hide behind trees). We made friends with two longterm homeless guys, Simon and Tony (amongst others!). Both of them would come and get a brew and chat. They always asked for tea and numerous sugars, guys at the door always wanted 4-8 sugars in their tea. Normally it was 6.
